There are two Conversion Rates metrics. The first is Lead Conversion Rate, which is the percentage of leads converted into appointments and the second is the Consultation Conversion Rate, which is the percentage of consultation appointments converted to invoiced treatments. In both cases the goal is to achieve as high a conversion rate as possible.
How it’s Calculated:
Lead Conversion Rate is the number of leads converted into appointments as a percentage of the total number of leads.
Consultation Conversion Rate is the number of consultation appointments converted into invoiced treatments, as a percentage of the total number of consultation appointments.
Useful for:

- Understanding the effectiveness of practitioners to convert consultation to paid appointments
- Developing for staff to improve conversion rates – using tools Consentz offers to improve and track conversion rates, such as the Consultation Tool and Patient Mode questionnaires.
Further Insight:
- Revenue By New Patients – Turn a consultation into a Treatment Appointment by changing your approach, uncovering what treatments could be administered during the consultation and build Treatment Plans for additional treatments.
- Patient Mode – Increase patient knowledge about other treatments and products, makes it much easier to discuss such treatments with your patients and will therefore help increase your conversion rate and assist growth.
- Non Paying Appointments – Identify those patients that didn’t generate revenue. Were they consulted but never returned? If so, follow up with them to understand why they haven’t returned, and address the issue so it doesn’t occur again.
